about us

When we were little girls, we can remember gathering dandelions with our sisters.

We would gather as many as our arms could carry and proudly offer our bouquets to our mother, who upon being overhwhelmed with our offerings, would accept only what her vase could manage. While our mother’s vase could only hold so many flowers, Mary’s vase has no limit to the number of dandelions it can hold. We encourage the girls who read this magazine to offer their prayers to Our Lady as spiritual dandelions. We can only imagine the beauty of the flower vase she brings to her Son!

We encourage our readers to embrace their femininity, learn new skills, read good literature, engage in constructive and polite conversation, and not to forget the many resources we have that give us a glimpse of the past and how women expressed and treasured their skills and interests. Do not be afraid to start a new hobby, even if you think you have no skill for it! Learn an instrument, try out a recipe, or start a sewing project! This magazine merely offers a jumping point for the imagination.

Sincerely,

The Editors
